Además de rendir homenaje a la figura de Carlos “El Pibe” Valderrama, este póster busca resaltar el contexto histórico y emocional en el que se desarrolló su carrera. Por eso, se incorporan referencias gráficas y cromáticas que evocan los años 90: una paleta vibrante de azules, amarillos y rojos, símbolos directos de la bandera colombiana, y un estilo visual de acabado retro y texturizado, que remite a los carteles deportivos de la época.
La tipografía en bloque y de gran peso visual transmite fuerza y carácter, mientras que el contraste con la silueta del jugador genera un equilibrio entre lo monumental y lo íntimo.

In addition to paying tribute to Carlos “El Pibe” Valderrama, this poster seeks to highlight the historical and emotional context in which his career unfolded. For this reason, graphic and chromatic references are incorporated to evoke the 1990s: a vibrant palette of blue, yellow, and red —direct symbols of the Colombian flag— and a retro, textured visual style reminiscent of the sports posters of that era.
